Ashley St. Clair Calls Out Elon Musk for Ignoring Their Child, Urges Him to “Finish Their Agreement”

Ashley St. Clair is publicly pushing Elon Musk to step up and acknowledge their child, just a day after revealing that she gave birth to his 13th child five months ago.

In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Feb. 15, St. Clair, a conservative influencer and children’s book author, called out Musk for ignoring her attempts to communicate. “We have been trying to reach you for the past several days, and you have not responded,” she wrote in response to one of Musk’s posts.

Musk, 53, had simply tweeted “Whoa” in reaction to a resurfaced 2020 screenshot where St. Clair jokingly said she wanted to get his attention for a marriage proposal. But instead of engaging with her directly, he responded to that old post—something St. Clair found frustrating.

She also accused the account Musk replied to of sharing inappropriate underage photos of her. “When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly engaging with someone who just posted pictures of me in underwear when I was 15 years old?” she wrote.

St. Clair’s Team Speaks Out

Brian Glicklich, a representative for St. Clair, released a statement on X saying that she and Musk had been “privately working towards an agreement on raising their child for some time.”

“It’s disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to finalize the process confidentially,” Glicklich wrote. “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his role as a parent, put an end to speculation, and finalize the agreement in the best interest of their child.”

In another since-deleted post, St. Clair criticized Musk for responding to an account that had allegedly shared inappropriate photos of her. “It’s interesting that Elon is choosing to engage with an old joke instead of the actual discussions we’ve had with his team,” she wrote.

She also claimed that Musk had recently asked her to have more children with him. “Now he decides to respond publicly to an account that posted underage photos of me, as if he wasn’t asking me to have more children last week,” she said.

She expressed her frustration at having to handle this publicly. “I would like to take this offline for our child’s sake and have been trying to do so for weeks.”

St. Clair’s Announcement

On Friday, Feb. 14, St. Clair publicly announced the birth of her and Musk’s child, saying she had originally kept it private for the sake of their baby’s safety.

“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she wrote.

She emphasized her commitment to raising their child in a stable environment, asking the media to respect their privacy. Her post was captioned with the Latin phrase “Alea Iacta Est,” which translates to “The die is cast.”

Musk’s History with His Children’s Mothers

Musk has fathered 13 children with multiple women, including his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, singer-songwriter Grimes (Claire Boucher), and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

This isn’t the first time Musk has faced public disputes with the mothers of his children. In September 2023, journalist Walter Isaacson revealed in his biography about Musk that he and Grimes had secretly welcomed a third child together, Techno Mechanicus (nicknamed “Tau”). Around the same time, Grimes hinted at co-parenting issues in a now-deleted post, writing, “My priority right now is keeping my babies out of the public eye.”

By October 2023, Musk and Grimes were suing each other over parental rights, and as of late 2024, their legal battle was still ongoing.

This past week, Musk even brought his and Grimes’ son X Æ A-12 to the White House during a government event—something Grimes later said she wasn’t even aware of until she saw clips of it online.

“He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh,” she wrote on X.

Neither Musk nor his representatives have responded to requests for comment on St. Clair’s recent statements.
